In early 2120, the mandatory implementation of the Registration Event caused widespread unease among the global population.

One day, a family of three arrived at the psychic cabin of the witch Linida.

Rumor had it that this was a magical structure capable of predicting the future through rifts in time and space, allowing one to see everything that was about to happen—and that was precisely why the family had come.

Pulling aside the beaded curtain, they discovered a dazzling interior: silk fabrics hung everywhere, the floor was carpeted, and the walls were adorned with all manner of strange patterns.

This immediately piqued the child's curiosity, but just as he reached out to touch them, his mother, having noticed, stopped him.

Unlike the mother and child, the father seemed extremely reluctant.

Not believing in such things, he worried that this might set a bad example for the child and insisted they leave as soon as possible.

However, his wife urged him to be patient, to keep an open mind, and to listen to what the sorcerer had to say. Just then, Linida emerged from the room.

After the three of them sat down and the mother had negotiated the price, she got straight to the point, wanting to know what the future held and what path their family should take.

After listening, Linida calmly produced several ritual implements and then inquired about the family's zodiac signs.

The mother and son answered fluently throughout, while the father stood to the side with his hands on his hips, saying nothing, watching the witch perform her rituals with a look of utter disdain.

When the ceremony concluded, Linida told them that the end of the world was approaching, advising them to stockpile supplies, stay indoors, and they would weather the storm safely in a few years.

The mother believed her wholeheartedly, but the father could no longer contain himself.

He refused to pay, arguing that two simple sentences had determined their family's fate for the next few years.

Unconvinced by the prophecy, he dismissed the sorcery as a sham and turned to leave with his wife and son.

These words successfully enraged Linida.

Feeling insulted, she decided to show them her most prized possession.

With that, she led the family of three into a private room.

Once the curtains were drawn, the room was plunged into darkness, with only a few candles providing a faint glow.

In the center of the room stood a massive crystal ball.
